Amy Jo Ellis

At the age of seven, Amy Jo began singing and playing guitar on stage and she has never stopped.

Early in her career, Amy Jo, had the good fortune of being picked up as an artist with Viking Entertainment. She worked for them for several years performing at fairs, festivals, and events, all over Southern California.

1998 heralded in the era of the churches. Amy Jo began receiving requests to perform at Churches and Spiritual Living Centers. Suddenly, she found herself performing at a variety churches of all denominations, from Spiritual Retreat Centers to Rick Warren's church and even on The Hour of Power with Robert Schuller. Her popularity expanded to the point that her calendar was full. – Well over a year in advance. 

In 2006 Amy Jo was hired to perform for a 6 week obligation for the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Puerto Rico. She fell in love with the islands and remained in the Caribbean for almost 10 years. There, she made a living performing her original songs mixed in with over 300 cover tunes

from Dolly Parton to Michael Jackson.

Amy Jo hands out song lists that she calls “The artist's menu” and lets the audience pick her set list.

In 2012 her song “Looking Back” was picked up by several large syndicated web radio stations where the song held the number one position for twelve weeks and remained in the top 10 for over a year.

Amy Jo is very dedicated to the American Veterans VFW. She has written and performed the headline official song at many of their National functions. Including the traveling wall with 7,000 in attendance. The dedication of the POW MIA wing at the Riverside National Cemetery with over 10,000 people present. As well as the dedication of the “Two Soldiers” park and statue in Westminster Ca with over 40,000 in attendance. 
Her song Christmas USA was picked up by Armed forces network and sent out to every ship in the fleet and broadcast world wide every year since it was released.
